God is Good, today was not.

More bad news.

I just found out that my great aunt Audrey has passed away late last month. My dad's side of the family is very old, and we are some of the only living relatives. Anyways the past few years I have worked hard to get to know this beautiful amazing woman. Here care giver didn't know how to contact me or my dad so we just found out today. It was so awful. My dad and I are going to plan a special little funeral for each other and of course my sister and mom. It wasn't something that I wanted to hear about.
Also a health update I am still in the hospital. Last night the bottom of both of my lungs collapsed and they had to help me start to breathe again. It sounds really bad, but I got through it. They gave me a chest x-ray that actually showed some improvement. They also did a test taking blood from the  ARTERY (not vain) in my arm using a needle the size of an oar. I showed that I don't have much oxogen in my blood so they have given me a new oxogen mask which allows for more oxogen from the tank. I look like I have a mustache. Not funny. Anyways tomorrow Matt is planning on bringing the boys here to visit which will make me so happy. This has been one of the hardest weeks of my life that I would not be getting through with out Jesus and my very supportive circle. Friends, family, and knowing that my co-workers are thinking about me. Please pray for my family and I.

NO good!

I just got a visit from my awesome doctor.  I am very sad to report that she has no clue why I can't get over this yukky crud. So she has suggested another doctor to come visit me and look over my charts for a second opinion. This thought scares me, mainly because I stopped breathing in the night and I don't even remember. Also my own doctor doesn't know what to do. I am just praying really hard that it isn't something more serious than what they initially thought. She never suggested that she just hopes that he can find the root cause of this infection. Please pray that they can find the problem and that is is easily fixed so I can finally go home and kiss my little boys. I miss them SOO much. I am very, very, very home sick.

I also have to say...

Thank you to Courtney Eastlund, Becky Wolcyn, Ashley and Lisa Carlson for visiting me (masks and all). I like I have mentioned many times am in the most wonderful small group. It seems like a support group, because we are always praying and helping each other out. Anyways these four girls have come to visit me in Princeton and I sure did need it. So thank you Courtney for making three trips in a row to see me. You finally won a skip-bo game! The photo is Becky and Courtney wearing the masks. Everyone who comes to visit has to wear one!!! Funny! !

Sad day!

Still in the hospital. Yuk!

So sunday was Jonah's second birthday, and I totally missed it. I have never been sadder in my life. All day I cried as Matt was on the phone with me giving me the play by play of every moment. Daddy did such a great job, he went out and bought Jonah his first bike and helmet (I think he liked the helmet more). He took him out and Jonah was glued to the bike. Then came the cupcake. I heard that he was very happy, and finally asked about me. "Where's mama?" It was nice to know that I was missed. To my surprise Matt showed up at the hospital with a cupcake and 20 photos of Jonah getting his bike, opening his card, the whole deal. What a sweet heart, since I am very sick they didn't want to boys to come up here.

Hospital

I haven't been able to write for  a bit. I have been really busy with work, adjusting to having a full time job. I love my job my the way, it has been such a rewarding experience for me. Also I have been sick now for a good week, and this is my fourth day in the hospital. It started off as the typical flu (even though I got the flu shot). I missed almost a whole week of work. Then all the sudden it flipped from the flu to a nasty cough (pneumonia) in which I could not breathe. No matter what I did I just could not catch my breath. So I finally made another appointment. The doctor was very worried when she saw my chest x-ray, and admitted me that very moment. So here I have been for four days. I cried when they told me today that I would not be going home today. It is my son Jonah's second birthday! The doctors want me to keep a great distance from the boys, that means I am going to my Jonah's birthday, and that breaks my heart. So please pray for me, and my family who are making it with out me at home. I couldn't ask for a better family or a better job and co-workers.  Hopefully I will get out within the next couple of days.

Dya

Stienbeck is still my favorite, BUT....my homie J.D. is starting to sway me.

Like I said I am reading Franny and Zooey, and I love how Salinger writes. It is so creative and keeps you on your tippy toes. Everyone should be reading this book! He also wrote "The Catcher in the Rye." Most people have read that book, me I have read it many times. Each time finding a new layer, I guess mostly adolescent males relate to.
